What we expect from you
  • We expect you to work with various clients as a tax professional by helping them to comply with various tax regulations.
  • You will manage clients tax affairs, ensure filings and statutory payments are done before deadlines dates
  • We expect you to have a basic understanding of the tax regime of the jurisdiction of the client
What you will be doing day to day
  • Ensuring clients comply with tax regulations and meet their tax obligations.
  • Analyzing and minimizing tax liabilities by implementing tax reduction strategies.
  • Reviewing financial records, income statements, and expenditures.
  • Preparing and filing tax returns and work papers for companies, partnerships, and individuals.
  • Researching tax issues and assisting with tax audits.
  • Consulting with clients, reviewing their tax information, and responding to questions and concerns.
  • Advising clients on employee health care benefits, compensation, and accounting systems.
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date client records.
  • Make monthly payments of various direct and indirect taxes
  • Make monthly payments of pension contributions for clients
Desired Skills and Experience
  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal).
  • A passion for working with clients-- helping them succeed, and building strong and long-lasting relationships with them.
  • Working knowledge of cloud-based accounting software (Quickbooks, Xero, Zohobooks).
  • Familiarity with modern work tools like Atlassia, Click-up, Slack, Hubdoc, Google Drive etc.
  • Great listening skills, honed-in to figure out how you can best support clients while also collecting important feedback to help guide the executive team
  • Meticulous attention to detail and ability to stay extremely organized in a crazy-fast moving environment
  • Strong research skills to figure out answers to questions you don’t already know.
  • Phenomenal teamwork skills! We are a team through-and-through, and our success is entirely dependent on working together
Requirements
  • 1+ year of tax preparation experience
  • Degree in taxation or accounting required.
  • Relevant tax professional qualification is plus
  • Working knowledge of tax and accounting principles
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong client-facing or communication skills required
  • Ability to prioritize and manage time efficiently.
